He had one good year, he was on his way to another one, but is her Urlacher, tupu, quality, or even top 15 in the NFL. doubt it. There was a reason we didn't give him all the money he wanted. There wasn't alot of difference in his abilities compared to Marshall. I also believe they had plans for McCune, who is going to get alot of looks this coming camp and preseason.
"young stud" is in quotes for a reason.

Judging by this thread some people seem to think he'd fall into that category, I was simply stating if he was such a "young stud" why would the Browns be letting him walk so easily when they don't have many other proven playmakers?

Remember a few years ago he was going to be the Cowboys next big thing at Wide out. With that said I'm pretty sure he would relish the oppurtunity to play the Cowboys twice a year (especially since he had a fallout with Bill Parcells). Plus the DC area is kinda close to Pittsburgh where he played college ball. Is this our guy or what? Oh yeah did I mention the guys 6'2?
Antonio Bryant is an interesting prospect considering Dilfer was his QB last year. What if Norv had has his way and drafted Dilfer instead of Heath Shuler? Oh, yeah, about Bryant, he would be a nice addition if Gibbs thought he wouldn't be a problem. I think all WRs are a little quirky and a fight with Parcells isn't going to keep him off my team. He has good size and speed and would fit nicely with Patten in 3 WR set. He has been way more productive than Koren Robinson and Randel El with a lesser QB tossing the ball. If he wants to be a Redskin, sign me up.

Re: Antonio Bryant

If that interview isn't just to drive up his asking price, I would seriously think that he's matured significantly since the last time we heard from him.

I say that we should at least give him a look.

How can you compare Bryant, who is entering his 5th year, to an old washed up deion who was in his 12th year? Big difference...
It's my understanding that Joe Gibbs has an aura around him that parcells doesn't. There is no mutinous chatter in the locker room. There is no keyshawn bitching on the side. There are no attitude problems. Players tend to take on characteristics of the team (w/ a few extreme exceptions....*cough *cough T.O. *cough). A player that seems to fit w/ the browns I don't see being an issue as far as character. Washington is a team with class and players on the bubble will follow suit w/ the team.

Re: Antonio Bryant

Do you guys think were gonna have enough money to sign any free agents? We still have resign all our guys first and draft picks. Theres no way we are gonna pick up a guy like Bryant who wants big money

Bigm we have produced miracles before, maybe we can again.... I'm kinda nervous though. Plus read the article I posted up earlier he said he doesn't want money as much as he wants to win, were a playoff team on the come up, I can see him comming here to be in the playoffs

Re: Antonio Bryant

problem with bryant even in that interview, what happens if patten bumps him to #3? does he get pissy and want a trade again? cause that interview made it seem like he might.

This guy is bad news. He played for the Niners last year and got busted for DUI, he's a got a bad history. Not worth the gamble, he's got talent but his head is not right. Can you say David Boston? What a waste of 2 talented receivers if they got their shit together.

The fact that he is still available at this point ought to be a clue as to how much of a better option he is. Maybe you meant to say that hell is a better option than this guy.
