Well finally we get to see some live football in our house!

I look for us to come out and play much better on the offensive side of the football. See the 1st line move the ball effectively and put a few in the endzone, and an improved o-line.....keep JC clean.

Defensively, hopefully a repeat! Last week was a pleasant suprise.

Of course NO INJURIES and we will cap it off with a WIN for the HOME crowd! Can't wait to be at a game!

Well, if you go by what we saw last week, it doesn't look good for the Skins. The Steelers' D-line is at least as good, if not better than the Titans. We have another week for the patchwork offensive line to gel, but I'd be suprised if we see a performance leaps and bounds better than what we saw against Tennessee. It'll probably be the difference in the game, and will be the deciding factor in whether the Skins offense can get on track.

If things continue the way they do, it won't be long before the fans and the coaches start fearing for Jason Campbell's health.

On another note, I watched Dallas' front seven harass the Colts' quarterbacks in their opening preseason game. They were in the face of the passer all night long.

We'd better hope Gibbs, Bugel and Saunders can figure things out up front pretty quick.

The defense should be sound, but I expect the offense to be as bad as last week. As long as the offensive line is in shambles neither the passing game or running game will be effective. I expect JC to be quicker in delivering the ball to his check down receiver, so we may end up seeing a better completion percentage. Coley will be in to block so we will see nothing from him. Perhaps AR will have a good half against his former team.

The O-Line was the best unit on this team last year. If the skins are to have any success, then this year the O-line will have to return to last years form and I ma not sure they can do that

Our O line is swiss cheese. Pittsburgs D line will maul our shoddy excuse for a offensive line. JC wont PHYSICALLY be able to play past the first quarter. The steelers are going to pin their ears back and blitz us ALL FUCKING DAY. I dont think its a good week to watch redskins football.....then again, i could be wrong. I mean, come on, I'm the guy that said Casey Bramlet was GOOD and would be picked up by an nfl team in a week or so! HAHA. oh wait...i was right. crap

Not a good week to watch REDSKIN football......? are you kidding....NO SUCH THING!

The so called swiss cheese, won't be so swiss. The line will be MUCH better prepared......and will do a much improved job protecting JC. The running game will also step it up and be much more productive with an improved o-line coming to work and creating holes for the RB's.

well, lets hope so. For my sanity's sake. if we suck like we did last year, i will die or internal bleeding. I just dont see our makeshift, aging line doing TOO much better of a job. The titans D isnt all that great and they STUFFED our run all night. And if the skins cant run, then we be screwed and I think JG would tell you the same. Lets all just hope that our line will actually become a line and not a piece of cheese. Moldy swiss cheese.

Re: How do you think we size up with the Steelers this Saturday, for our 1st home gam

I want to see how Jansen and Wade look. I hope we have a better running game than against Tennessee. Also I would like to see more game planning for Pittsburgh's defense which we all know about. They will bring as much or more pressure than the Titans and I would like to see the Skins attack it rather than running the basics. At some point the first offense needs to get into rythmn and score some points. It's hard to do that with vanilla when the defenses are bringing the house.

Update: Wade isn't playing. So change Wade to Pucillo.

I think we match up pretty well. I would rather see our first team offense against their 1st team defense versus the titans 1st team defense.

Shameless self-promotion. It is what it is.

I also hope to see an improved running game, but we have to remember who will be running...no CP and if Betts very little. I beleive Rock is out...,which he didn't do much last week anyway. So that leaves blaylock/mason to carry most of the RB duties. If the o-line holds up their end of the bargain, we should see a much better showing.

JJ will be fine, we'll have to wait and see if wade is gonna be able to make the transition....? Sounds like Pucillo has been working extremely hard, let's see how he looks on game day.
