D Dock is Back

Just saw an article over on Redskins.com stating that D Dock signed the tender.

So if another signs him we would get a first round pick? Maybe Lloyd is a crap shot. If another team signs him we get the 1st round draft pick we need and if not we just go ahead and work out his deal.

No, Lloyd can't be signed. Basically, he signed San Fran's RFA sheet, then got traded to us. We have him on a one year deal, kinda like Dockery. We still have to sign him long term.

Re: D Dock is Back

I used to cuss dockery so bad early in his career. He was good for 2-3 penalties a game .But about midway through the '05 season i started to notice you were not hearing his name called. When you dont hear an o-lineman's name called you know he is doing his job. Portis for 2000 yards in '06. the "dirtbags" get the job done.

I like the more fiscally sound approach. Let them play cheap this year and they can earn their contract.

Re: D Dock is Back

From skins.com on the Lloyd deal:

Lloyd's tender was picked up by the Redskins in the trade with the 49ers. The Redskins would receive a first-round draft pick if another team attempts to sign Lloyd.

So he is still on the market technically. But he'll be a skin, no doubt...
