Hey, Dr. Z...

That's 5 wins, doc. Maybe I should sue you for malpractice.

Re: Hey, Dr. Z...

Forget Dr Z - he may not have given us much credit in the past, but I don't know if he has something personal against the skins. We've flat out sucked for the past few years. Don Banks on the other hand is malicious towards the skins...check out what he wrote last week:

"Your Washington Redskins, ladies and gentlemen, 4-3, and headed for 4-5. With Philadelphia and at Tampa Bay on the schedule the coming two weeks, things are going to get worse, Skins fans. Washington, and especially Mark Brunell, have overachieved this season. But that 36-0 shellacking the Redskins took at Giants Stadium convinces me they're starting to find their level."

One division win later, Banks has nothing to say about the skins. Its fine that the media has made yesterday's game more about the eagles and TO than about us winning - that's the way I personally prefer it...I want us to go unnoticed and then sneak up on teams.

Re: Hey, Dr. Z...

Yes, the media has been all about T.O., but I thought Reggie Brown put up some nice numbers last night. T.O. may not have done much better. Let's all point the finger at Philly where it needs to be pointed. THEY CAN'T RUN THE FOOTBALL. They are really one dimensional right now. They tryed to run more last night, but it is just not working for them.

Re: Hey, Dr. Z...

Watching the game on espn last night was almost sickening. I really try to keep a unbiased opinion about the media and why they cling to certain players and teams. But last night they must have mentioned TO and McNabb over 1000 times. At one point, Suzy K. said the Eagles are behind, but not for long... What? I think all of the sideline reports were about the Eagles. Can anyone remember one about the skins? Anyways, we got the last laugh w/ the win and that is all that counts.

Re: Hey, Dr. Z...

ESPN is milking this story for all it's worth and more--I am so friggin tired of it. But, meanwhile, we're quitely progressing. It's better to be below the radar. Even in the game, there were times where we seemed like an afterthought to ESPN, even as we were winning. BUt THeisman and the booth morons were giving props to the skins, even though the network is all over TO.

Here's my solution to DrZ, Banks, Pasta, and the rest--don't read them, or at least stay away from their skins commentary. What's the point? We know what they're going to say. And as we get better and better, they'll jump ship and sing our praises. But, to my knowledge, only Bradshaw has admitted he was wrong about the skins. Don't expect we'll see it from the rest.

I can't stand Banks! I don't mind King & Z as much...I think they keep it professional at least when they are telling us the Redskins are no good. Lenny P is completely unprofessional and only mentions the skins at all when its bad, and i like this Banks character less everytime I read something new.

You're crazy...Melissa Stark is the only sideline reporter for me. The screen goes blank for me during sideline reports ever since she left the NFL circuit. Gorgeous AND knew her football? Now THATS a woman!
