Forget a GM, how about an...
OFFENSIVE COORDINATOR. Gibbs playcalling is pathetic. I'm sick of watching this offense. Just punt on first down, maybe our defense will score.

Joe Gibbs sucks thus far? I'll say it. He's pathetic and doesn't look like you can teach an old dog new tricks. I hope to god he proves me wrong.

I won't be the one to say it, because I think it's premature to do so. But what I will say is that I want to see some major changes in the offensive strategy for the rest of this season. If we get the same old, same old, then I will be one to say what some of you are hinting at.
I'm willing to wait and see if Gibbs has it in him to change what he is doing in a major way. It took him way too long to admit that Brunell was a mistake. How long will it take him to admit that his offensive strategy is a loser? It's truly painful to watch the Skins now. This is compounded by the fact that Gibbs is running the show and taking a lot of hits because of our poor performance. I love Gibbs and hate to see things going this way and I know he must be eaten up inside. We can only hope that the old Gibbs will resurface - the man who was not afraid to change his methods if they weren't working. So far this season, I have seen no evidence that that man still exists. |

Matty - I ripped Spurrier too, like Gibbs I think he could change things. Thus far, Gibbs has been horrible.
There's a big difference between Spurrier and Gibbs. Both let their assistants work on their own. Gibbs just hires better assistants. I hope he turns it around, but the playcalling from an "offensive genius." At this point I think Dave Campo could run a more reliable offense. |

Fine Daseal said it first I'll say it second, Gibbs sucks so far with his playcalling. I think he is a good figurehead, I think has brought some good continuty, and respect within the organazation and with the players. I think he is doing a good job or will in the offseason, keeping the core group of players and building off that. In all those senses I think Gibbs has done a good job. However, with playcalling... its been poor.
