Am I missing something? From Huffington Post:
"Late Friday, the Obama campaign said there would be no sponsorship." I guess you can switch your position on guns, flag lapel pins, the Iraq War, etc , but to associate yourself with Nascar people would be a bridge too far.

Wow...
Would the car have had a slogan like "Your guns are mine!" on it? Perhaps "Change...tires every 50 laps." He would have definitely put himself amongst a group of people who don't like him... Too bad this won't happen...maybe Tony Stewart would have put the Obama car in the wall on the first lap.
