The Pro Bowl Bandwagon

It's still early in the season, but never too early to rev up the Pro Bowl Bandwagon for a couple of very deserving 'Skins.

Mike Sellers at FB and Randy Thomas at RG. Both were absolutely amazing at the point of attack yesterday. If you plan on watching the NFL Replay on NFL Network, or if you've got the game on DVR, I'd encourage you to look for Thomas and Sellers specifically throughout the game. Randy was amazing, plowing either Stroud and Henderson 10 yards off the ball on running plays. And Sellers on the lead blocks got seal after seal and absolutely demoralized linebacker Mike Peterson. By the end of the game you could really see the effect on Peterson's body language. He was a beaten man after taking hit after hit from Sellers.

If these guys keep it up, they deserve the Pro Bowl. Beasts among men.

Agreed on both, though Sellers will certainly be passed on in favor of Mack Strong who will get all the fan votes for NFC starter at FB.

Sellers was an absolute beast yesterday - wish he'd been miked up - would've love to have heard the trash talking he was doing (and backing up with his play).

Re: The Pro Bowl Bandwagon

Good thread! In fact, I hope Sellers can lay the wood to LaVar next week.

Ummm...first and foremost....'TanaMan' will get in.
I like Sean Taylor for the Pro Bowl, hell Roger Goodell likes Sean Taylor this year! Somehow Chris Samuels manages to get in..so I'll take him and Thomas.

Fact of the matter is, unless you're in the NFC championship it seems like your team is unlikely to get more than four Pro Bowlers.

Hell, Derek Frost will be handing out the Eat Your Own Crow Award this year in Hawaii.

Good Grief. How many new threads are we going to start in a day!?!? Personally, I think Sean Taylor needs to go. As long as he keeps his attitude in check then I see no reason why he shouldn't. I wanted to personally deliver the guy dinner last night, with all of the fixings. He needs some recognition.

Taylor without a doubt. He's good for at least 2-3 killshots per game.

Sellers was just manhandling guys yesterday. He's really a bull, I almost feel bad for LBs having to take him on. He's huge and he plays with a mean streak, I wouldn't want any part of him especially when he's fired up.

There was one point later on in the game, maybe right before Portis score, when Sellers was more pumped up than I think I've ever seen anyone get. He had just barrelled over a defender and the guy must have said something to Mike because he got up screaming and hopping around like he was just looking for a face to rip off. It was really awesome to see how intense he was.
Plus, I think he's learned to control his own intensity. A few yeas ago he would have probably grabbed someone by the facemask and violently shaken it for days. Now, he just waits til he can unleash all that aggression on the D during the next play.

Yeah. I like sushi and I like naked women, but I'm no sure about the combination of the two like that. Plus, I'd be afraid I'd accidently drop some wasabi in a bad spot and really injure the poor woman.
