This poster is 100% right, IMO. It seems to me that, since RGIII was not performing well and there was clearly the risk of further injury to his knee if he were to remain in the game, it was practically a no brainer to pull him.
When asked about not pulling RGIII by the Press, Mike Shanahan mentioned other injured players who also were on the field. No offense to any of those other players, but RGIII is no ordinary player. He is the most talented and dynamic Redskins QB I have ever seen - and I've seen them all since Eddie LeBaron. IMO Shanahan stupidly rolled the dice not just on one playoff game but also on the future of the franchise - and he may have lost both.
I'm po'ed about RGIII's injury because there was no good reason for him to be on the field when it happened.
