Saying he sold them is speculation. Maybe he did. Maybe he didn't. Just because he's barefoot again, doesn't mean he sold them. The only person who honestly knows that is the homeless guy.

Yeah, he said he was hiding them for fear of being killed over them. But who knows what the deal is now.
