While I think Shanahan needs to go, I still tend to not want to see any knee jerk reactions this year. The secondary is a mess. He has proven that he can build a good offense around a good player and tailor it to said player. Lets now give him one more year to get the defense back on track. Cutting bait right now would be disastrous, but I believe that RG3's performance has ensured that Shanahan will be around a bit longer than some people would like. I think he is vastly overrated, but I am not above getting behind the man and rooting for him to become what he once was. But over three years in, and our defense completely changed and in shambles, the patience is starting to wear a bit thin. I am a realist, but above that, I am a redskins fan, and I wish him the best.
