Kirk Cousins was projected to be a 2nd round pick. How he fell to the 4th round no one knows. Mike Shanahan did the right thing in selecting him. He was too good to pass up when he was available. Everyone with a lick of sense felt the exact same way you do the moment Cousins was picked. It really irked me how many people in the media were criticizing the moveat the time, saying we shoudl have selected a lineman and/or suggesting that we were creating a quarterback controvery
