Yeah, Yanks paying approx. $2.2mil if the $7.6mil salary...less than half the price for half a season, so Seattle chipped in some cash.
With Gardner probably not coming back, Swisher hurt now...smart move, so they don't have to rely on Andruw Jones and Dwayne Wise down the stretch.
Ichiro wearing #31, not Bernie's number.
