Not sure I believe that. Also, when it comes time for Stafford to renew his contract, you have to believe that 19mil is going to be the starting point, and most likely looking at 25-27/yr at high end. So combined, you are talking about 40+ mil/yr dedicated to 2 players? That's 1/3 of the salary cap, and dear god let's not even talk about what Suh is going to want come time to renew.
Is CJ worth it? Sure. Is it a smart business move? Absolutely not. I'm glad we aren't making this mistake.
