Re: Yet Another QB Rumors Thread (Volume 9)
NFL.com, Espn.com, profootballtalk.com, the Bleacher Report, all have been talking about the Redskins trading up and the Rams trading back. Within the top six picks, who are they only teams that will make a play for drafting a QB? Washington and Cleveland, right? It would seem that the wisest play for the Browns to make is to sign Matt Flynn in free agency and keep both of their 1st rounders. If this happens, Robert Griffin III, is many predict the Redskins will trade up for, will automatically fall to Washington at #6. This way, the Redskins along with the Browns can keep all of their draft choices instead of trading up.
If Washington wants to trade up anyway, they would be doing so to ensure that they get Griffin III. This is still not a bad move. This year's 1st rounder(6th overall) and maybe this year's second rounder could be enough compensation to move four spots forward along the draft board. Forget about next year's 1st round draft choice.
