(By the way, the pen tool is the ONLY tool to use to cut out people. I've seen "professional" graphic artists STILL using the lasso tool. It is very sad. And in case you don't know, Quark is THE only layout program.  ) I hate InDesign. |
I don't use either tool to cut people out. In the avatar case I designed the background first so they would all be the same then I layer the pic over it and use the eraser tool to cut them out. I like doing it that way because it gives a nice anti-aliasing edge that looks much cleaner.
