Not if you make a dramatic change to the defense. While our D is now decent (maybe even good) after a horrible year last season, we still spent money and draft picks to fix something that wasnt broken. The opportunity cost of doing that is in my opinion reflected on our offense.
I dont think Mike should be on the hot seat by any means but i think Kyle should be. But thats the problem with hiring your friend or family (regardless of merit), the situation is much more dynamic that just business.
