He was solid in the first 2 weeks. We need him to be consistent. In the Dallas game, old Rex came back in moments, that INT throw to Lee and the fumble at the end. Those kind of mistakes cost games and are why teams were scared to even contact him when he was available. If he cam stay comfortable in the system and play mainly error-free (he's guaranteed for ONE turnover every game, so we need to accept that), then he can keep the job. When he starts reverting to his Jekyll-and-Hyde ways, it's time to see what Beck can do, even if we are winning despite of him like the Bears did.
If he's playing smart ball and not making those stupid blunders, keep him in definitely. If he starts to become inconsistent, we need to see if Beck can stabilize the QB position. Keeping Rex in might hold back the team's potential success if he's not exceeding our expectations and his reputation.
