As far as the blitz on 3rd and 21, hey thats what we do. We are the #1 team in the NFL on 3rd down by blitzing and not giving the QB time to survey the field and find an open guy. I am not blaming the call at all. He made a play, Dez made a play and we didn't. We have been making plays all night, hell all year, we just didn't make that one. Again, to me it comes down to a missed field goal. I am really tired of finding ways to lose games by missed field goals, extra points.
Gano fought hard though coming back and nailing the 50 yarder, I give him credit for that. But we have to execute the FG opportunities, especially the short ones, making those 50+ yarders are bonuses.

Excellent point. Though they'll never say it, I'm sure that in their hearts, Cowboy fans know that the Redskins are no longer the pushovers of the NFC East, and that they are really tough to beat. Last season's opening loss at FedEX, a three point nail-biter in Dallas last year, and last night's two point sqeaker has proven that.
If nothing else, they know this contest is gonna be a dogfight from here on out.
