I've heard that more than likely they will let Dixon go in the expansion draft. He's got heart but so what. You need more than that. All the Wizards games I saw (and I'm a season ticket holder so I saw a lot) for the most part Dixon essentially killed the flow of the offense whenever he touched the ball. It was a great marketing ploy to bring him in but an even better strategy would be to put together a winning team.
Arenas is a headcase but he's loaded with talent and is only 21 years old. I wouldn't rush to trade him. The team was most effective with Arenas at PG, Hughes at SG, Hayes at SF, and Kwame at PF. Etan, Blake and Jeffries provide solid depth off the bench what they need is a force down in the low post. I'd like to think its Haywood because you know the old saying, you can't teach 7 feet. But I just don't if Haywood is the answer.
Little anecdote, I was at a Wizards game a couple of years ago and who should sit next to me but Daseal's godfather Steve Spurrier in his first public appearance since being named Skins coach. He got a thunderous ovation when his face appeared on the big screen. Little did we know. I should have figured something was odd when he said he was observiing the offensive and defensive formations the Wizards were setting up and he would then apply that to football. I figured he was just so far ahead of our time I should just accept whatever he said.
