I think it has everything to do with how good the corners are at covering and how good the receivers are at separating and catching. 10 out of 10 times I'll put a shorter corner on a bigger man in the red zone if he can cover better. Same thing with the receivers. At 5-11 Greg Jennings came in 2nd in TDs in the league with 12. Also at 5-11 theres Darelle Revis, need more be said about him. If skill/speed/hands are the same, height helps, but a shorter better guy is the better option no matter where you are.
