I like our FA pickups and I'm not really worried about the loss of Smoot and Pierce. No playoff games with either of them on the team, so boo-frickin' -hoo. Good FB draft picks and McCune could be a stud. As far as Santana Moss goes...I seem to remember the front office loving him a few years back when he was in the draft. Marty took Rod. I think our WRs will be better than expected: Jacobs, Moss, Patten...remember Sanders, Clark, Garrett? We are looking better than some think. I look forward to a tough team that WILL make the playoffs this year!!

Welcome!

I agree on our draft last year I think we did a very good job considering the amount of pick's. That doesn't mean we take this year off, we had a real opportunity to help this team and didn't do it. Yes you are correct the smurfs were small fast guy's, but you forgot about papa smurf Art Monk, who would go across the middle and make the tough catches and I think a lot of us are very disapointed that we didn't address that need with so much WR talent out there.

I like Rogers a lot I think he's a considerable upgrade over Smoot but that remains to be seen, as for the rest of the draft, I will tell you this Newberry wont make it I saw some film on him and forget it, the guy runs a 4.72 as a LB and he's not fluid, I am optimistc about the rest though.
