Closest thing I've ever heard of is a PS2 called
Fahrenheit that was developed by the same company. Thing is Heavy Rain is a very unique game. Hopefully more companies will develop similar games in the future but for now Heavy Rain is in a genre all by itself.
Mass Effect might be the closest thing and it's a great game in its own right but you'll be hard pressed to find a game like Heavy Rain.
