Supposedly thats why they picked up Wade. However there also is speculation as to how good the defense will be since the team does not have all the players needed for a 3/4 defense (sound familiar) and the impending lockout/strike.

Apparently the other thought process is that if the HC is not getting it done they can fire him and Wade can take over either during the year or at the end of next yr. Maybe it's just me but Wade has yet to prove to me that he's HCing material. Awesome DC but horrid HC.
