Not blaming the public, just saying they don't make it any easier. As for them making the bed. Did they make it or was it made for them, as dmek pointed out.

But just dont expect my tax dollars to go to your healthcare when your sexual orientation had everything to do with you contracting several diseases, some of which are debilitating and very costly to treat. I've treated plenty of people with HIV/AID in nursing homes, most of the in their 40's, early 50's, all of them gay. That is not just a coincidence.
