I've been to very many places in MD and VA that are still very southern acting. Most have become more northernized or whatever you want to call it, but a lot of parts of Loudoun and parts of MD towards PA are still very southern.

I don't think you could really find anywhere in D.C like that, but I could be wrong. I agree though that most parts are no longer act southern at all though.

However, doesn't defeat the fact they are southern states.
