You mean the type of loyalty where we HAVE to renegotiate contracts every offseason to keep people? LaVars contract is massive and what if he falls off, or never becomes his old self from injury? (Just using hypothetical situations, not saying there's any basis for that statement.) His career isn't over, he's still a player, but certainly not worth what he's getting paid (there's a debate if he's worth it healthy) we can't just "dump" him BECAUSE the salary cap forces teams into large signing bonuses.
