Jerry on the other is actually hindered by the fact that he really is a decent scout that knows a thing or two about finding players. However at the same time you need to remember that Vinny was a decent scout that knew a thing or two about finding players. Only difference is you can fire Vinny, it's much harder to convince a guy like Jerry to take a step back because in his heart he believes he's the best guy to run the football end of things and the only force pushing back is the voice of an angry fanbase that loves the team to much to truly boycott the team, similar to the situation the Redskins had been in up until this point. The success of the Cowboys these last few years really is a tribute to the genius of Parcells. That teams core and foundation is mostly from players scouted and chosen by Parcells.
