But I don't think this is what he's referring to."Centrifugal force" can also refer to the reaction force to a centripetal force. In this case, Vonn would be exerting centrifugal force to counteract the centripetal force.But he clearly says, "to counteract centrifugal force ...", which tells me that he's simply making the common mistake of confusing centrifugal force with centripetal. Class dismissed.
