No doubt and it baffles the hell out of me why some things aren't widespread in the NFL

like in the PFT article his transcription ( Romanowski comes clean regarding his desire to rejoin the NFL | ProFootballTalk.com ) basically saying guys walking in not having ate, carrying mcd's, etc is crazy to me.. I hear about athletes downing this junk food and it's crazy.. for example Cooley mentioned that he and some teammates (I think in college) would have burger eating competitions and he'd come out and play just fine.. I think he said that nutrition wasn't a big deal for a lot of guys, didn't make the difference that people say.. then at a later date I think he mentions having a bunch of spinach before a game and feeling so clear and energetic

If I were helping run a team every meal that they were around for would be made there, there would've already been massage therapists and whatnot.. recovery is huge in many sports but it doesn't seem that way for a lot of guys/teams.. like people were making a big deal when David Boston was getting magnesium drips, etc (yeah sure he might have gotten more than that) but that's not really a big deal at all, high level athletes across many sports will and should do what they can to get an competitive advantage as long as it's within the guidelines of the sport

It baffles me how that still seems to be an aside to teams that want to be competitive
