Hopefully, this was more the result of VC's divisive management style than of DS's intervention. Again, hopefully, Allen and the next coach tell DS "Hey, you want to hang out with players and be there buddy - Fine. So long as every conversation ends with 'but remember, ____ is coach and what he says goes. period.' "

I think DS wants to win enough that he may have learned he needs to get out of the way. Who knows.
