I am not thrilled by Shanahan, but he is an experienced Football professional
. In all seriousness, even in Gibbs day we didn't win multiple playoff games every year, but we were always competitive and had a shot, and I think that's what Shanahan brings. Plus, we have a much better D for the next 3-5 years at least than Shanahan ever did.
The main thing, is that it is a return to NFL normalcy and a hopeful indication that DS is learning to be a good owner and not as meddlesome.
