To me, the worst scenario is getting swept by Dallas and barely missing the playoffs resulting in getting average picks and a tough schedule the following year.

As much as I don't like getting crushed...at least when you have no shot, you don't have a heart attack and you can dream of a favorable schedule and a solid draft to create dreams of fancy for the future.

Sometimes it is better to have long term hope that to be short term desperate.
Right now, that is how I look at it.

I have always believed, if you don't make the playoffs, at least beat Dallas...it is still a successful season
