Zorn brought Sherman Smith in though. He actually had to do some convincing beforehand to pry him away from the Titans job. It would be pretty gutless to let your man go and just shrug it off like that. Especially considering Smith is one of only guys you brought in.
There has to be limitations to Zorn's constitution. You just can't continue to be undermined and be fine with it. You have to stand up at some point. Money and personal advancement is great but your professional credibility has to come into play when you're in charge.
