Jason Reid said he asked Vinny if this move would have been made if Zorn was against it. His answer....no.
If this is true, good for Zorn. Lewis has been involved in the WCO for years and having him see things from upstairs during games can only help. Hopefully he can do what Hixon can't, and teach the receivers how to get separation and how to play in the WCO. Hopefully he can also iron some things out in the redzone, like having Portis run straight ahead directly behind Sellers instead of stretching it out down the line. Remember, most of Zorns assistants are new to the WCO and Lewis knows it inside and out. I think this is a good addition.
