I like the blackout rules. For one thing, fans that want to watch the game live are owed nothing from their home team. You want to see the team, go watch them live. If you don't want to do that tough shit. Secondly, it forces teams to evaluate their ticket prices and lower them to attract fans to come to the stadium. It also forces them to put a better product on the field and try to win so fans will be more inclined to support the team in person.
