As much as I would like to see Portis, Mason, and Alridge and Dorsey on the practice squad even I have to be honest with myself.
The coach's don't like to leave their comfort zone. Their comfort zone at RB is Portis, Betts, and Rock. Whether it's loyalty, afraid of the unknown, or players getting on their knees...
the only RB I see usurping Rock right now is Alridge or Dorsey. Only cause they are looking for a change of pace back. I'm just baffled as to why they went to all the trouble to bring back Mason especially since he's a similar type of RB as Portis and Betts if they had no intention of getting younger and replacing Betts. If he truly sucked he would have been one of the first cuts to make room for someone else.
