I agree give Taylor jacobs some playing time, but before we unload Gardner.
Taylor Jacobs could be another Ladell Betts, constantly getting hurt. He looks good early every year in informal shorts and helmets, non-contact drills.
But when the hitting started EARLY last season, we lost him for almost the entire year. He needs to prove he can stay healthy and be a consistent contibuter, before we unload Gardner for peanuts.
Another reason I don't like the idea of unloading Gardner is Cerrato/Snyder have proven year after year they can not find starting talent after the third round.
What good is a 3rd to 5th round pick for Gardner if we can't find a starting caliber player in the draft with that pick? We would basically give Gardner away for nothing if the player selected with that pick does not pan out
