Hate to burst your bubble but it was exactly like this with Gibbs.. Remember the Brunell pursuit? The Lavar Arrington saga? The free agency class of '06? There's not much difference.
Like SS said, it's really media driven. Recall last offseason when we didn't do anything in free agency and had all of those draft picks they still tried to throw the Redskins name in everything going on. This offseason has been wild in the NFL, period. The fact we've been active in pursuing a QB makes it look more chaotic than it actually is.
