Sprint Cup and open car is more like what you're talking about, beer and hotdogs compared to wine and cheese. But most of both crowds are nice to everyone and are generally well behaved.
What do you want us to be like Filth-a-delphia fans? I think more winning seasons would bring back the enthusiasm that you're talking about. I'm the only Stewart fan at the track or so it seems. When he was winning every week everyone was hyped. Now he's doing good everyone wants to jump back on the wagon. That's just how fans are.
