Daniels was way underrated by many.
He is a fantastic run stuffer and because of that he can end up supporting the inside as well...that is something Jason Taylor could never do...having Haynesworth should give Daniels the ability to get more sacks...Daniels is more about power so his sacks come from a collapsed pocket or coverage, not due to amazing speed moves.
Daniels is WAY better than Wynn.
I would love for Daniels to play 2 more years...ideally, we should have a rookie DE to be groomed by him...unfortunately, I don't think we have a pick we can use for that.
Like others have said, we need that for OT and LB...thats round 1 and 3.
I am unsure about how valuable bringing M Washington back would be other than "bad draft" insurance.
Daniels is way better than that..he's a legitamate full time starter (if healthy)
Dont underestimate him...especially against the run.

Agree...but Blache needs to rotate him early and often to get the kind of performance you speak of. I think Daniels started to wear down late in the '06 and '07 seasons. Anyway, i think Blache and the FO know this, thus Wynn. I see Daniels taking an average of 2 snaps per series.
... btw I don't think we carry all current DEs into the reg season. I bet Buzbee or Jackson are shown the door. Buzbee is a goner if he injures himself again. Jackson I don't see as a good fit for us... not big and strong enough to hold LDE but not explosive enough to hold RDE. I would say Wilson is the safest of the 3 kids.
