Do we all agree that if Cutler went back in this draft he would go #1 overall? And if you believe reports then Detroit has already offered this pick for him. Assuming we agree then that #1 pick has a value of 3000 points on the trading chart the NFL teams use. The Redskins pick #13...so I started from there. This is about what it would take to get to the 3000:
#13 = 1150 points
#14 = 1100 points
#23 = 760 points
You can argue if Cutler as a player is worth it and if it's the right move for the redskins...but teams have payed this steep price to go up and get players before. The Giants for instance payed a steep price for Eli a few years ago.
