The beauty about centers is they are usually the best value picks year in and year out. Ryan Kalil could easily have been considered one of the 10 best players in the 2007 draft and yet he fell to the second half of the second round. Centers really are one of those positions where you can find a pro bowler in the third round. So personally I would rather find a Tackle in the first and then try and get the second or third best Center with our third round pick.
