I caught Gran Torino and The Wrestler... both very good flicks. The Wrestler is probably Aronofsky's most traditional work, yet... Rourke is really good (seeing Marisa Tomei play a stripper is an added bonus).
Going to catch "Taken" later this week... it's supposedly an amped-up "Bourne"-type flick starring Liam Neeson.

I don't get to the movies nearly as much as I'd like, so I can't compare Slumdog to many of the other flicks that are getting a lot of attention right now, but based on what I know about movies I could see that. I love Danny Boyle too, Trainspotting is one of my favorite movies, and this was right up there in terms of quality.
I'm really looking forward to The Wrestler. Probably going to check that out next week. Mickey Rourke is a great actor so it'll be great to see him really shine. Plus, I've always had a thing for Marisa Tomei, so that should be bueno.
