I'm not sure I'm set on a top 2 but I'm sold on getting Jordan Gross. As for a second free agent, I think I'll play close to the vest and hope the team goes after Karlos Dansby as getting him would allow us to focus on DT as well as a Guard and Center in the draft. The funny thing is apparently Michael Lombardi has heard the team covets Gross and they'll open their wallets wide to bring him to Washington.

Also JLC claims the team is looking for a homerun hitter at tailback. If thats the case then hopefully they could get Sproles in at a reasonable price but a nice cheap alternative might be JJ Arrington as Arrington, like most Running Backs, Arrington struggled behind Arizona's line. At one point the guy was considered the answer at tailback for Arizona and was a highly regarded prospect coming out of college.
If you guys remember Thomas Jones was a bust untill he got to a team with a decent line in Tampa. Afterwards he was able to truly break out while he was in his second season with the Bears so Arrington might be a pretty intriguing choice for a tailback with breakaway speed.

Comment: Arrington is a good-sized running back with great workout numbers. Unfortunately, his numbers don't translate to the football field. He has excellent straight-line speed and can accelerate through the hole with a good burst. He can stop and reverse field quickly. He runs with balance and body control. His vision is questionable because he will leave his blockers behind or run up his blocker's backs at times. He does not appear to see past the first level very well. He wants to try and bounce things to the outside way too often and needs to run a lot more aggressively on inside runs. He has trouble getting around the corner before the pursuit and often looks like he does not trust his own physical tools. He catches the ball well enough, but does not run great routes. If the ball is thrown outside of his frame or he has to adjust to the ball, he will struggle making the catch. He is not instinctive when he stays in for pass pro and needs to work on his blocking. Arrington is getting to the stage of his career where he needs to start showing more because James is getting on in years and needs someone who can spell him more often

The only second day guy that caught my eye at tailback int his years draft is Devin Moore from Wyoming who currently grades right now as a late third early fourth round prospect. The part that caught my eye about him was his explosiveness rating. Remember a rating of 1 means exceptional in Scouts grading system.

In fact Moore was the only guy I could find that Scouts said would be difficult to catch from behind. Most of the other profiles are filled with guys that are fast but still lack a second gear.
