Well, Portis is smart enough to know he was out of line and that the problems with the team run a lot deeper than Zorn.
Zorn's smart enough to know he can use this loss to rectify his prior mistakes.
I don't know how long Portis will remain effective, but I know that Portis and Zorn can co-exist as long as they both are around.
