Also, Zorn as QB Coach was part and parcel of how that team performed on the road. And going to Dallas, NY, and Philly is a damned sight harder than St. Louis, Arizona, and SF.

"Part and parcel," or a "significant factor" ?? I just don't see how a bad road record can be traced back to the QB coach. If it makes you feel any better though, Zorn so far is 2-1 outside of Fed Ex Field.
Interesting note about Walter Murray. I'd never heard of him until the graphic came up tonight on the broadcast which gave us the Redskins' top wideout picks going back to Art Monk. That's not an impressive list, by the way. Penn State offensive tackle Andre Johnson was another first rounder who didn't make the cut back in '96. Though I think he still somehow lasted one season. It can happen, certainly. But personally, I'm not taking Devin Thomas back to the customer service desk for a refund just yet.
