The call was horseshit and the more I think about it the more it pisses me off.

I know some will say you shouldn't let yourself be in a position where the refs can decide the game, BUT, in the NFL where games can be so tight and decided on just a few key plays, refs can definitely have a huge effect on the outcome.

This 'penalty' wasn't one that had an effect on the play, it wasn't holding, it wasn't pass interference, and on top of everything it wasn't a clear and undisputable foul. Players set themselves like that all the time. Was he set for the full one second that the rules require? Probably not, but who does get set for a full second every time?

If the refs wanted to they could call that penalty several times per game in every game around the NFL. It was just a ridiculous call, they took the game out of the hands of the players, and that's a shame.

I think it's worth noting we could be 4-3 right now if it wasn't for some pathetic calls/non-calls against Dallas and now Green Bay, and it also shows just how thin the line is between winning and losing.
