On the other hand, the inmates have been running the asylum in Cincy and I think Marvin knows he has to get control of the team. Moreover, Chad has never categorically said he would not, under any circumstances, play for the team. I think Marvin and the Bengals F.O. is hoping this is a Briggs situation that will blow over by September.

They're taking an awfully big chance if they think it's going to blow over. If this only gets worse for them they'll look like complete idiots come September considering they had a chance to get rid of him for good value.
