When I posed the question, it was more of a 'we have Gardner, Coles, Jacobs as 1, 2 & 3 (depending on McCants), so do we replace Johnson via draft or FA?' question, than it was about worrying about his departure.

IMHO if we have a talented WR available when we pick in the 5th, someone who can be a solid backup at least, then we may be able to lose McCants and use the spare 5th for another need, rather than spending a lot of money (a la B Johnson) keeping a backup on the team.
