1: Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie CB Tennessee ST
why?: Springs is aging and in the twilight of his career and Rogers is comming of a tremendous injury, smoot is good but outside of those players there is few that can play right now in the NFL. It is time to look to the future and cromartie can use a year to learn from Smoot and Springs. He already is working with Green! He has blazing speed and great cover skills he could spend this season in the nickle and return punts.

2:MOVE UP!: Trevors laws DT Nortre Dame
Why: He is a force in the interior, high motor and would compliment the large Montgomery as well as add to a pass rush up the middle

3:Trade pick to move up

3(comp):Jerome Simpson WR Coastal Carolina
Why?: he has size, okay speed and can jump throgh the roof. he was a touchdown scoring machine for his team percise route runner solid #2 comparison: Reggie Wayne *Biggest hands and reach in the combine*

5:John Greco G/T Toledo
Why: He has the all the intangibles and could do well under the right coach~ who we have on staff currently

6:Marcus Monk WR Arkansas-
Why?:u guys know who he is and what he bring so I won't get into it...

7:Marcus Dixon De Hampton
Why?: great production while in school, had a minor transgression in highschool but was later turned around. He can rush the passer and voted hardest worker/ mvp of team.

7 (comp): Bernard Morris QB Marshal-
Why?: Athletic QB, good 3rd stringer nice arm won't challenge for the starting job.

7 (comp): Bobbie Williams Bethune Cookman S
Why: Has the motor and intensity of a blue chiper he is worth the late round pick.HE hits like a monster look him up on you tube!

Honorable mention: Jamie Silva S Boston College- the kid has heart and would work well with landry.

So tell me what ya think!
I think the trade up for a player like Laws is a good idea if we fill a hole like Guard by taking Branden Albert at 23. However, if we choose to take the value and select Cromartie at 21, I would definately argue against a trade up because we still have massive needs on the OL that we can't solve if we trade the 3rd round pick.

And I would love Trevor Laws, and I do think Cerrato values him highly. But he won't give up the third rounder to get him if he needs the pick to address a need position.
